Let yourself be surprised by Onildo Rocha's menu for Notiê by Priceless
A restaurant that honors Brazil and leads the customer through a multi-sensory experience in gastronomic seasons. This is how Notiê by Priceless, led by award-winning chef Onildo Rocha at Espaço Priceless, could be summed up, but it is so much more.
At the top of Shopping Light, in the center of São Paulo, it presents avant-garde Brazilian cuisine mixed with regional flavors. Flavors that Onildo, from Paraíba, discovers through in-depth research, traveling around Brazil on expeditions with each new season.
Notiê by Priceless
Honoring Brazil, the name mixes the words "tiê", the bird symbol of the Atlantic Forest (and one of the most spectacular in the world), and "noite".
In a five-, eight- or twelve-course tasting menu, you'll be amazed by Onildo's creations, which present often familiar ingredients in a totally innovative way. And other times, it serves products you've never seen or imagined could be on that plate. What they have in common is the fact that you will enjoy this immersion in the flavors of Brazil through the eyes and hands of Onildo and his Armorial cuisine, which values Brazilian ingredients and popular knowledge and puts them on a different level.
"My cuisine comes from the armorial movement of Ariano Suassuna. I try to transform popular concepts into erudite ones," says Onildo, who asked permission from the family of the writer and playwright, also from Paraíba, to use the term.
Although the menu is the main highlight of the experience at Notiê by Priceless, the wonder begins well before the table.
When you arrive, you'll see an 18-meter panel on the ceiling of the restaurant that represents the season. With creative direction by designer Gustavo Greco, it makes anyone stop for a few seconds with their eyes up to admire that work of art and then move on to the other work. This one is on the table.
